@Willie's - Annette Aguilar & Stringbeans

Ms.Annette A. Aguiler who frequents Willie's Steak House , showcased her Stringbeans with an indispensable presentation on 10-22-03.

The band's introductory number had Ms. Ellen Uryevick-Adams strumming on her electric Folk Harp, resounding of angelic fantasy. The innovative fusion of Folk Harp with Latin Jazz serves to deliver a unique sound for the String beans, and delivers a unique melodic fragrance that transcends the normal stochastic standard numbers and induces a near trancelike state. The incomparable accompaniment of Mr. Lewis Kahn on his Stradivarius with its unique and distinct tones served to heighten the musical quotient.

Mr. Victor Rendon didn't leave anything for the imagination with his rambunctious efforts on the Drums (Mr. Rendon also plays timbales with Grupo Latin Vibe). Las blancas y las negras of the piano were played by none other than Mr. Pablo Vergara with a merciless approach that should be applauded. The stamina and vitality of Mr. Harvie S. on the bass is a force to be reckoned with. A very instrumental individual if I do say so myself and I do indeed say so.

Last and of course not least we had Ms. Annette A. Aguilar dazzling us with her boundless talents, directing, playing three congas (tumbadoras) and weaving/shaping the musical pleasures of the night. This synchronization and harmonic blend of talent as presented by the Stringbeans is a winning combination and should be savored again and again.

Their debut CD "Special Friends" is selling like hotcakes and another CD is also on the way.  Good Luck Ms. A.A.A. on all present and future endeavors,
